Frequently Asked Questions

SimpliUnlimited provides fixed wireless internet service, as well as high-speed fiber plans in select areas.

SimpliUnlimited connects to nearby towers using LTE and 5G wireless signals, similar to what mobile networks use but optimized for home internet. Unlike satellite internet, which relies on signals from space, our service uses ground-based towers. This means lower latency, fewer weather-related issues, and faster, more consistent performance.

Yes, our service is truly unlimited and you’ll never be cut off or charged extra for using more data. Depending on the plan, there may be a threshold after which your speeds are deprioritized during times of network congestion, but you’ll still have full access to the internet.

Throttling occurs when your internet provider imposes a hard cap on your speeds after you use a certain amount of data — for example, many satellite providers may reduce your speeds to dial-up levels after using 25–100GB in a month.

Deprioritization, on the other hand, means your speeds may be temporarily slowed only during times of network congestion once you exceed a certain data threshold. This allows everyone to maintain fair access to bandwidth, but you still have full internet access without hard limits or extra fees.

Our service runs on a wireless 4G or 5G connection, so speeds can vary depending on network coverage, tower proximity, and overall traffic in your area. While speeds aren’t guaranteed, we can check network parameters at your address to give you a good estimate.

We offer wireless internet service nationwide, available virtually anywhere there is tower coverage across the U.S. Our service operates on a robust network supported by major national infrastructure.

Our home tower network delivers enhanced coverage in Washington, Oregon, Northern California, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Tennessee, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Southern Maine.

We also provide professional installation services in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Iowa, and Nebraska.

We work with a network of trusted, multi-carrier partners, allowing us to dynamically route connections over the most reliable C-Band and LTE networks available, utilizing terrestrial fixed wireless technology. This approach maximizes coverage and performance for our customers.
No internet provider can guarantee 100% uptime, as occasional service interruptions can occur due to network congestion, weather conditions, or tower maintenance. However, we are committed to providing reliable, high-quality service and will work with you to quickly resolve any issues that arise. Our support team is always here to help you get back online as fast as possible.

In most cases, all you’ll need is our subscriber gateway — no complicated setup or extra equipment. That said, every location is a little different. When we check coverage for your address, we’ll let you know if anything additional is needed to get the best performance. Just reach out by text, email, or phone and we’ll guide you through everything.

Yes! We offer both indoor and outdoor options, and many customers choose to install the equipment themselves.

  • Our Indoor Units are simple to set up — just plug them into a wall outlet and you’re ready to go. Built-in WiFi means no extra router is usually needed.

  • Our Outdoor Units do require mounting, so we recommend professional installation when available. If you’re outside our installation area, we offer easy-to-follow self-install kits.

We’ll help you choose the right setup based on your location and needs.

Our Indoor Units are designed for simple plug-and-play setup, connecting directly to a wall outlet with minimal cabling required. They come equipped with built-in WiFi, eliminating the need for a separate router in most cases. For larger spaces or areas with obstructions (e.g., walls or heavy furniture), adding a dedicated router may help to extend coverage and maintain consistent WiFi performance.

Our Outdoor Units provide enhanced signal strength by positioning the device outside, allowing for a direct line of sight to the tower. This makes them ideal for properties that are farther from the tower, have dense tree coverage, or need the most reliable connectivity. Because these units do require installation, we recommend professional installation to ensure optimal setup and performance. However, we also offer self-install kits for those who live outside of our  installation area.

With our service, an additional antenna or signal booster is generally not necessary.

Our Outdoor Units are equipped with built-in antennas designed to enhance signal strength, providing reliable connectivity even at greater distances from the tower. For most customers, this built-in technology delivers ample signal strength without the need for extra equipment.

Our Indoor Units also provide strong WiFi coverage within the home for convenient, easy setup.

In rare cases—such as locations with extreme distance from the tower or unusually dense physical obstructions—a signal booster may be considered. However, we typically find that our outdoor units perform effectively on their own in most environments.
